Pick your world (you choose at the in-game realm list — one account, characters in both)
Azeroth — the living world. Hundreds of souls, bustling cities, a working economy, locals who talk back — and remember you. Standard vanilla pacing, untouched. As safe as Azeroth ever gets.
The Iron Realm — the crucible. One life. In exchange, everything comes faster: 2× experience · 2× profession skill-ups · 2× rested bonus · 1.5× coin · boosted rare loot. Fall, and the portal casts you out to Azeroth with everything you carry — plus a scar to remember it by — alive, exiled, and barred forever from returning to the Iron Realm.
The Portal — survive to level 10 in the Iron Realm and the portal learns your name forever: cross between worlds freely (stand in the portal, log out, log back in on the other side), and the realm itself mails you the Iron Kit — packs and hazard pay, earned in full. The portal answers only to the proven; an Azeroth-born character can never enter the Iron Realm — choose carefully for your first character, or roll on Iron first and prove yourself.

  2. Extract anywhere and run WoW.exe
  3. Log in with the account you made here
Already have a 1.12.1 client? Set realmlist.wtf to set realmlist raincityserver.duckdns.org and grab the addon pack from Downloads above.

Already playing here? Your existing install just needs one small update: download the map patch (~11 KB) and copy its Data\patch-3.MPQ into your WoW folder's Data folder, next to patch.MPQ and patch-2.MPQ. Nothing else changes — no reinstall, no re-download of the full package.
